The Cinderella story of the metroplex is undoubtedly Mansfield Timberview. The Wolves have been lead all year long by quarterback Charles Taylor and last Saturday, the speedy senior put on another show, rushing for a game-high 232 yards and 2 touchdowns. His explosive play making ability helped propel Timberview into the state semi-finals for the first time in school history. For leading his team to a 32-6 win over Abiline, Timberview High School's Charles Taylor is this week's Chevy MVP.

The old saying that big-time players make big-time plays in the biggest games certainly applies to this week's Most valuable Player. All season long Trinity high school's Joel Kimpela has been making big plays but in area round playoff showdown with 2nd-ranked Allen, Kimpela took his game to a whole new level, rushing for 345 yards on 32 carries. His dominating performance is one of the tops in school history but more importantly helped Trinity move on to the next round with a 28-21 victory. For his outstanding performance, Trinity senior running back Joel Kimpela is our Chevy most valuable Player!

Week 10 MVP - Kenny Hill

Last Friday night in the season finale with the district championship on the line, Southlake Carroll quarterback Kenny Hill produced his best effort of the season. He accounted for 470 yards of total offense, 309 through the air and another 160 on the ground. His ability to control the game helped propel the Dragons to a 42-29 win over Denton Guyer and helped the Dragons complete an undefeated season. For his outstanding performance, we're proud to name Southlake Carroll quarterback Kenny Hill our Chevrolet Most Valuable Player.

On a cool night at Forester Stadium in Dallas last Friday night, Skyline completely shut down Lake Highlands. At the center of the offensive thrashing was quarterback Devante Kincaid who threw for 367 yards passing and accounted for all of Skyline’s 5 touchdowns including 3 from the air and 2 from the ground. Devante lead his team in the 37-0 win and we are proud to award Devante Kincaid as this week’s Chevy Most Valuable Player.

Superstars come up big when their team needs them most and last Friday night Cedar Hill tailback Laquvionte Gonzalez answered the call. Locked in a battle for first place with Mansfield, Gonzalez scored 4 touchdowns and 250 total yards of offense in a crucial 42-34 win over Mansfield. For his clutch performance, Laquvionte Gonzalez is our Chevrolet Most Valuable Player.

In the midst of a rivalry game against Fort Worth Arlington Heights last Friday night, Wesley Harris of Fort Worth Southwest cemented his name in the state history books with an incredible performance.  Harris completed 20 of 30 passes for 562 yards and 9 touchdowns, which set the state mark.  Wesley Harris’ effort helped his team defeat Arlington Heights 66-21 and we are proud to award him with this weeks Chevy Most Valuable Player.

Week 6 MVP - Robert Lowe

At Lumpkins Stadium in Waxahachie last Friday night, the Waxahachie Indians were caught in the middle of a shootout against previously unbeaten Corsicana. Robert Lowe provided the offensive effort with 26 carries for 183 yards and 5 touchdowns. He helped his team remain undefeated in 15-4A District play defeating Corsicana 47-36. We are proud to award him this weeks Chevy Most Valuable Player.
